Syd went to college with an interest in Psychology, but at the same time, she started working in a pet supply store that offered her a position as a dog trainer. Being a dog lover, Syd was excited to start this new role and quickly shifted her career path. In 2015, she received her certificate in Veterinary Assistance from the College of Dupage in Illinois, but continued to work in the animal field as a dog trainer, dog walker/pet sitter, and also as a doggie day care staff member. It wasn’t until moving to Minnesota in 2019 that she decided to join the Veterinary field, which is how she joined our practice as a Client Service Coordinator!
Syd has found the CSC position to be the perfect balance of working with animals and people. She enjoys meeting new puppies, taking photos of our patients for our clinic’s social media, and seeing the patients’ excitement when they are being returned to their owners!
Outside of work, Syd shares a home with her husband, Chihuahua mix Opal, and Bearded Dragon, Zero. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
