Ever since Hong was in the fourth grade, she knew she wanted a career of working with animals, so in High School, she decided to shadow a Vet clinic and also volunteered at The Animal Humane Society. While working in their dog adoption room, she got to know so many different adoptable pups. This experience made her realize that she wants to help animals, and make a difference in their lives which is why she came to work at our practice in 2021!
In College, Hong spent time interning at the MN Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and enjoyed working with all the different critters. She graduated from the UofM with a Major in Animal Science and a Minor in Wildlife Care and Handling.
At work, Hong has a dual position where she works as both a Client Service Coordinator and a Veterinary Assistant. Her favorite aspect of the job is meeting all the different types of patients that come to our clinics. She enjoys their different personalities and watching the younger patients grow up.
In her free time, Hong likes playing video games, roller skating, watching anime, and painting. When the weather is nice, she also loves going on hikes and spending time in her hammock. At this time, Hong doesn’t have any pets of her own, but is hoping to someday have a home full of cats, dogs, and even a snake!
