Laura has always had an affinity for animals, which is why she chose veterinary medicine as her career path! She is currently in school for an animal science major, but plans to apply to vet school. An experience that really stood out to Laura during her education was visiting a dairy farm. This gave her a better understanding of dairy cows, and allowed her to truly appreciate them more.
Laura’s favorite part of her day-to-day life as a veterinary assistant is seeing all the different breeds that visit our clinics, and she enjoys learning from our veterinarians! Laura also has a mixed breed pup of her own named Harper, and she is a Doberman/Boxer/Pitbull mix.
When Laura is not working or at school, she enjoys reading, crocheting, sewing, and listening to podcasts.
