Bridget was 12 years old when she got her first puppy, Sophie. When Sophie was diagnosed with a liver shunt, Bridget started developing an intense interest in the medical side of animal care. Ever since, she’s known that she wanted to become a Veterinary Technician!

Bridget grew up near St. Paul but has lived all over the state of Minnesota. She enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at the Minnesota School of Business in 2012 and graduated in 2014. In December of that year, she passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician.

In March of 2015, Bridget joined the Golden Valley Animal Hospital family. She particularly enjoys dentistry and surgery, but also likes routine pet care work, like nail trims. Most of all, Bridget loves meeting new animals and developing lasting relationships with pet owners.

Bridget lives with her fiancé, Ben and their two children. She also has Max the tuxedo cat who enjoys snuggling, playing, and knocking down valuable items around the house and Dewberry (aka: Dewey, Barry boi, Dewbeans) the boxer who loves frozen treats, playing with the kids, and hopes to one day be best friends with Max, the cat. When she isn’t spending time with her own pets or caring for animals around the clinic, Bridget enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time outdoors and with her family.
