Bridget was 12 years old when she got her first puppy, Sophie. When Sophie was diagnosed with a liver shunt, Bridget started developing an intense interest in the medical side of animal care. Ever since, she’s known that she wanted to become a Veterinary Technician!
Bridget grew up near St. Paul but has lived all over the state of Minnesota. She enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at the Minnesota School of Business in 2012, and graduated in 2014. In December of that year, she passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician.
In March of 2015, Bridget joined the Golden Valley Animal Hospital family. She particularly enjoys laboratory work and has a special interest in hematology, but also likes routine pet care work, like nail trims. Most of all, Bridget loves meeting new animals and developing lasting relationships with pet owners.
Bridget lives with her fiancé, Ben, and Max the tuxedo cat who enjoys snuggling, playing, and knocking down valuable items around the house. When she isn’t spending time with her own pet or caring for animals around the clinic, Bridget enjoys reading, playing video games, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.
