Jacie

Jacie has known from a very young age that she wanted to become a veterinary professional. Growing up, her favorite part of any day was spending time with animals, whether this be her family animals or visiting the local animal shelter. This led her to pursue a veterinary technician degree at Dakota County Technical College where she graduated in August, 2025 and became certified shortly after graduation. During college, she felt very inspired after she administered her first vaccine to a rescue cat who unknowingly had ringworm. Jacie was definitely in for a surprise when she contracted the virus, but this helped her to keep pushing and gave her some insight on what she was signing up for!

Jacie is currently working as a veterinary technician, and her favorite part of her job is meeting new patients and seeing existing patients again. She enjoys getting to know all of their different personalities, and it makes her happy to hear when a previously sick animal is feeling better, especially when she was part of that process!

When Jacie is not at work or school, she enjoys spending time with her cat Lilly, family, and fostering animals through a local rescue.
